This vibrant trio was created to bring color, joy, and curiosity into the artist’s son’s nursery. Each frame features a different jungle animal — a leopard, an elephant, and a giraffe — crafted entirely by hand using painted paper elements layered in a playful, three-dimensional style. The piece was born out of a simple intention: to decorate a space with something cheerful and engaging. But it became much more than that. It was the first artwork the artist created after giving birth — a quiet, hands-on process that brought her back to herself in a new role as a mother. As she cut, painted, and assembled the animals, her son watched with wonder, captivated by the colors and movement. It became a shared experience, and a reminder that even the smallest creative acts can hold deep meaning — especially when made with love and witnessed by the next generation.
