ORANGE ORCHARD | acrylic on wood
This piece was inspired by one of the artist’s first walks after moving to Mallorca, during a time of big transition — having just learned she was pregnant. The landscape was filled with olive trees, orange orchards, and sheep wandering freely as the sun set behind the mountains, turning them a golden orange. It felt like a moment of complete presence and connection — with nature, with the life growing inside her, and with the future she was imagining for her family. Painted in acrylic on wood, this artwork was created together with the artist’s husband, who built the structure to function as a folding screen to hide their television — a personal and practical solution turned into a meaningful, handmade piece for their home. The result is both decorative and intimate, blending natural beauty with a personal story of new beginnings.
